Groundbreaking Ceremony of Factory No. 4 – MeiKo Electronics Vietnam Company

On the morning of May 8, at Thach That – Quoc Oai Industrial Park, the groundbreaking ceremony of Factory No. 4 – MeiKo Electronics Vietnam Company took place. Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc – Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thach That District; Leaders of the Management Board of Industrial and Export Processing Zones of Hanoi City; Leaders of the Office of the People’s Council – People’s Committee; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; District Center for Culture – Information and Sports. Leaders of the Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee – Fatherland Front Committee of Phung Xa Commune; Leaders of MeIKo Electronics Vietnam Company Limited; representatives of the construction unit.

MeiKo Electronics Vietnam Company is one of the world’s leading corporations in the production of electronic circuit boards and the assembly of complete electronic circuit boards with 5 factories in Japan, 2 factories in China and representative offices and subsidiaries around the world. In Vietnam, Meiko’s factories producing electronic circuit boards and assembling electronic printed circuit boards have invested a total capital of more than 1 billion USD to date.

Main areas of operation include: Design, production and fabrication of electronic printed circuit boards, assembly of components onto electronic printed circuit boards, assembly of complete electronic products. Currently, Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Thach That – Quoc Oai Industrial Park, Thach That District has about 5,000 employees – most of whom are from Thach That District.

Project Factory No. 4 – MeiKo Electronics Company has a total construction area of ​​14,500m2; when put into operation, the Factory is expected to recruit 2,000-3,000 more workers. This is a great job opportunity for the people of Thach That district in particular and neighboring areas in general.
